Voters Decide — On November 4, 2025, voters in Boise will vote on a ballot measure to raise $11 million in funding for open space, public access, and water quality projects. If passed, it would collect an extra $5.5 million in property taxes in both 2026 and 2027.

Victory or Open Space!! — On November 4, 2025, Boise voters approved the open space measure with 81% of the vote. 

Why It Matters

History of Success — Voters in Boise approved similar open space levies in 2001 and 2015. These 2 levies have enable the city to preserve 36 open space properties totaling over 13,000 acres.
